Yes, I took the design of the execution troopers and changed the parts that were black and turned them red to look like subordinates to Captain Cardinal.

thank you. I agree the Phasma novel is one of the more fascinating, and well written Star Wars Novels. It certainly adds a new perspective on the Star Wars universe.

It was phenomenal! I loved Trigger and Sketcher’s arc, going from fighting in the cafeteria to being a legitimate squad. I thought Medic was an interesting character as well. She willingly joined to feed her family and still remembers her birth name. I never really considered stormtrooper cadets having this motivation before. And can we talk about Cardinal? I just love him here, especially with his last line, which was something like, “nobody hurts my cadets and lives!” He’s such a good guy, even if he is First Order. Oh, the Grysks caught me off guard! I wasn’t ready for aspects of the new Thrawn trilogy to be merged with aspects of Delilah S. Dawson’s novels!
I really hope that Lucasfilm decides to explore more stories from the perspective of the “bad guys.” It’s always so interesting learning the motivations, feelings, and goals on the other side. I feel as if you did a fantastic job portraying these concepts. The characters were likable, the story flowed nicely, and it had a good conclusion. I just wish it was longer!
