The Imperfect reach towards the heavens in desperation, hoping there's a chance that they may find peace within themselves and this world. One the Imperfect's eyes finally open to look at the heavens they find a hand has already been reaching towards them and searching for theirs ...

This was a piece created with a completely different idea in mind. How many of us have started a piece with one intention only for it to take on a mind of it's own and show you what IT decides it wants to be?!

The hands are my own dipped in paraffin wax and filled with plaster. Originally I was going to remove the wax but couldn't bring myself to destroy the textures! These were two hands out of I believe 8 I made. The background is a sample piece of a marbling mixture from my father's work. Forgiven is written in permanent marker.
