My mom asked me to make this set for her friend's birthday. I made the roses, then she added the crystal... her friend liked it a lot! The earrings are silver plated, they're only 1 cm each.

I'm very proud of this. I think that these are the most realistic roses I've done, and I really liked this shade of red.

I hope you'll like it too I plan to sell sets and roses like this in my store.

Made with Sculpey III, metal findings and the red crystal.

(Seriously, I clean and clean but I still find cat hairs in my photos! lol cat hair is really thin this time, you get three cookies if you find it!)

Cool Talty, it's so realistic, and in that small scale. O______O. Although the colors didn't mix well, I see some light spots on the roses, or it's just an effect of baking it and all?

I think that those light spots may be the light coming from behind. The petals are quite thin, even a bit translucent.

Well, yeaaah. But I really think I'm gonna start in Christmas or something? I'm living in my grandma's house when there are classes, and they removed the oven, the microwave, the blender, so I can't do stuff here. And I'll be back at our real house at Christmas break. =______=.

Whoa. Are you sure you didn't just fire a shrink ray at some real roses and shrink 'em down to miniature size?? They look so real! So real, in fact, that if you reached out to touch them, you would expect them to feel all silky and soft like real rose petals.

Middle rose: on the 2nd peddle from the bottom, on the right side. hee hee. ( I have the same problem w/ my puppy hair (part husky ... so I must comb her twice a day to keep it down - so I relate)

yeah huskies are great. My pup is a golden lab, with blue husky eyes that melts the world. Now that I think of it, I should post more pictures of her.

That's actually a tiny lint that wanted to ruin my photo that's the bad thing about taking photos this close, all the lint sort of pops. Anyway, that was smaller than the cat hair so you get cookies!!

I really hope they sell a lot, the money would be great and I agree, it's very frustrating... I see my work and it looks fine, then I take a photo and I start seeing imperfections that I couldn't see before

Ah, I buy Sculpey III from the stores and sometimes it is very hard to condition it . v . My hands get tired easily. And I have to draw later XD So I'm thinking of investing in a clay conditioning machine though I'd have to save up for that.

You could also buy clay softener, just a few drops are enough to make clay soft like new! Old clay gets hard with time.

And yes, I'm still a beginner, I see a lot of mistakes that I want to fix and techniques I want to learn!

I think that those cakes look cute! I like how some of that jelly is dripping down the side
