A jumpy crustle that is constantly on the lookout for a new shell to use.
She doesn't talk very much and is very adverse to conflict of any kind.
Will pretty much always have Perle on her back.
Perle [Pur-le (pronounce it like Pearl)]-Clamperl
Female
Perle doesn't care. Not in a negative way though.Β
This clam prefers to take it easy and go with the flow.
You can often find her softly humming, whistling, and/or singing atop Shale's back
any steven universe jokes in regards to this character will be hidden
and not responded to because NO

This popped into my head...
Brex groaned to himself, took a mouthful of the jug water and swallowed it, then another and blew that into the dry Clamperl shell. The shell slowly closed and sealed tightly shut.
"You know Water Gun?" Shale gasped. The Crustle was astonished!
"Nope," the redneck Heatmor admitted, "but I do know Mags's gonna enjoy a real good laugh at me fer a long time over this..."
They waited anxiously, each hoping the water had worked in time. After a while, the shell gradually opened. A pretty pearl with a face on hummed a tune that Brexio had to admit was nice, and soft fleshy mollusc parts made it look as if she was on a miniature water bed inside the shell.
"
"Perle! You're okay!" Shale beamed. Her friend was fine again! "Perle meet Brexio..."
Brexio sat down, listening to the singing oyster. "Sure wish Mags was here fer this. You two think you could stay a while?"
Shale smiled. "Err... of course!"
For no apparent reason, Perle sang a Scottish-soundingΒ reel next. Brex found himself dancing along. Then he shook himself out of it.
"I just gotta get Maggie! Don't you go anywhere, now! Be right back!" he called as he ran off, tripping up over his own feet along the way.

I know Brex belongs to Citrine... I know he's tough when he needs to be, as well as a bit mischievous. And clumsy at times! But we also know he's really soft hearted, so the idea of him being good with obviously shy folks seems to fit... he'd probably make Shale laugh. And he loves Maggie dearly and wants to include her in everything, even if it turns out to be silly.

Brex can be quite the charmer, and he might be able to get a laugh or a smile out of Shale.
Her issue with other `mons is not only that she's shy, she's very mistrustful of others, even
if they've given her no reason to be. This is for reasons that will be revealed later muahahahahahaa

I presume part of her wariness is to do with events concerning why she hasn't a Crust of her own.

Heather is a miniature urban Heatmor 'because Kalos rich folks used them to cook, clean and heat their homes before the introduction of electricity, and some households still do this' (also so she can be a better size for Archie to cuddle!)

PMD Perle is so cute! And Shale looks a bit bewildered by having a clamperl on her back!
(Technically SU Pearl shouldn't exist, because a pearl is not a gemstone; it's created by clams and oysters that soothe a physical irritation by coating it with shellac, but we happen to think the result is pretty)
(But technical-minded, desperately-missing-Rose SU Pearl is cute too, and we all love her as well!)

I don't really like the show. I watched it when it first came out, but I became neutral to it at best. I'm just sick of seeing it everywhere and the fandomΒ can be quite rabid, so you can see why I don't want people making comparisons to myΒ characters (besides the fact that the coincidence is unintentional). Either way I'd ratherΒ not talk about the show if that's alright. That's an interesting fact though, and I'll keepΒ that in mind for Perle.

This is my first time in an active group like this, and also a school year where it's very important for me to spend a lot of time workig for school, and my digital art isn't as good as my traditional work, but I figured, even when I'll not be very active in the group, I'll still be one of the members from the first day, and I'll try to be as active as possible... Any tips? I know you as a PMd group person :3

Hmm... I guess the best way to go about it would be to budget your time and prioritize.
Try to make sure all your work is done before doing pmd stuff, and everytime a mission
comes out you have to make a decision. Do I really want to do this mission, would it be
good for my characters, what will I have to give up if I want to do it? If the answer would be yes,
you need to plan out your entries virtually from beginning to end.
The sad reality is that sometimes you will have to give up participation to get work done too and
your really have to keep that in mind.
