Description Those of you watching Sharpenr have been watching him sculpt and create the mold for a sculpture of Beatrix. (Those of you who have been watching *me* will know Beatrix is a comic book superhero I drew for a handful of stories published about ten years ago.) While viewing one of Sharpenr's last posts I had a flash of inspiration. This is it.

Why do these things always seem brilliant when you think of them but sort of dumb when you actually do them? : )

Nyehehe this has sense to me. Poor girl. Although I've never seen Homer or Miss Piggy from McFarlane.

I know there are Homer Simpson figures, but they cost more than I was prepared to pay for any of them, except one set of a dozen three inch figures. I know they weren't made by McFarlane, though. As for Ms. Piggy, there's several series of Muppet Show figures by McFarlane. All long out of production though. That's one thing that bugs me about McFarlane. They produce hundreds of dreary sports figures, wresters, and monsters, but really neat stuff like the Beatles figures, or the McKenzie Brothters, are only around for a short while.

I see. You know. It's all about money. But still. I'm happy about my A L I E N and Jason figure. They are the cheap ones of course and still was hard to get them of course.
But if you allow me to dream the best would be for me a life size transformed Gremlin. It's one of my dreams since my childhood.

The mean the AMC Gremlin?

No, probably not.

I don't mind having the odd grotesque figure. I've got a couple of cheap six-armed skeleton warriors, and one thuggish looking space mercenary with mobile armour suit. I've a few cuite anime girls too, just because they're cute -- don't have much idea who they are. But I have a nice set of Muppets, and all four of the Beatles from "Yellow Submarine." I've got Dr. Evil, and Alfred E. Newman dressed as Batman, and a figure from the band Devo, and the Corpse Bride.

I ended up with a number of hockey figures as well. I started buying them when WalMart had them marked down to five bucks, to give to one of my sistes for Christmas. Then she made it plain she had room for no more. I had five or six stocked up already. They ended up on my shelves instead. Since then I've added a few whenever I found one of the old-time players I actually remembered. I don't mind hockey. Never played it or watched it, but it is the Canadian national game, and I at least saved hockey bubble-gum cards when I was a kid.

I've a larger number of really cheap, smaller figures that I bought mostly for a quarter or fifty cents from a bin at the Salvation Army.

I see. Congrats for your collections! I saw on FA you have several maybe all the Batmobiles. I ain't really have needs for these collecting stuff but I'm still pretty proud of my Batmobile from the 89 film. It feels awesome and it reminds me to my childhood. Plus in my eyes that one was the very best Batmobile. I also have a little candy-holding Batman head which I used in kindergarten. So it's also one of my greatest and most important treasures. I tell you! It's a miracle nobody have stole it.

She'll need a good shampoo later, though.

Responding to your comment about "concepts that seem brilliant, until you actually do them," I think this sentiment would describe most of my artistic output.

I get like that as well sometimes - it's sounds so cool in your head, but the execution comes out all wrong. lol Just make sure she has air holes for the second half of the mold

She'll be fine, what with that invincibility suit the pan-dimensional beings gave her and all. A wee bit on the angry side, which flowers might not be able to fix, but...

Unless some wealthy, indulgent publisher who's willing to treat me like an author and not a comic book artist, and pay me a huge advance and let me take a year between issues, probably not anytime soon.

Maybe when I can retire in about nine more years...

Never heard of them. I rather doubt they'd throw *real* money at me in any case. I mean four figure money, whose first numeral exceeds 4 or 5.
