A Cherry Tree that I care about and I have had the opportunity to capture the four Seasons (not the singers) of it - today I got the shot I hoped for Winter with Snow it's not a really good shot (it's not B&W either) but beggers can't be choosers.Hope you like my interpretation of it - I've waited patiently for it
Sad News ... I have just drove past this tree and find it has been Cut Down (28/02/07) I'm so pleased I was able to get the shots I have of it before this sad end - I shall make serious enquires as to why it was felled !

Thank you Aysha for viewing and commenting - I've had letter from the Council who tells me there is to be a new Footbridge across the river there and have promised to plant a new tree when the work is complete ... we'll see !

The one cut down was at least 30 years old - I have a wedge of it as a keep sake

look at those amazing flowers in the spring .. god it's such a shame that people tend to destroy everything that's pure and natural on this earth .. very nice idea

I really like what you have done, it gives smoething special to the tree. It's only a shame that they have cut it down. Do you know why?

No I don't have the reason yet - I have sent an e-mail to our Council asking the reason bit have not had a reply !

Real cherries? I love fresh ones. What a pretty tree too, we have pear trees in our yard, an anniversary gift from my hubby because I've always wanted them, had some when at my parents house when I was young. Nice collage you did, well done.

Mmmm I think it is only a Flowering Cherry Tree ... perhaps I'll take a closer look at it in the Summer this year !

The shot's not in b&w for winter. It doesn't really fit. You should've waited for a better day and just taken a shot of the bare tree. In rain or somehting.

It's not in B&W you're correct but that is as it was on that day with Snow (your something) on the ground which I had hoped for for the Winter shot if you see what I mean !

OOOoooo so pretty! Here in Southern California we don't really get very much season change so I always like to see the beautiful colors! Very well captured!

When I saw this in your Gallery, I immediately thought Calendar. But eh
