We get this all the time - it doesnt seem to harm them permanently - it looks like a dove or some sort of pigeon - we have one at the moment on the landing window but not quite as clear as this one x

Well it wasn't below the window when I looked so it must have flown off but could well have died later

Oh hell no, not what I think it is?
Maybe you should put a warning stop sign or something in front of that window?
Still, you have to admit, it's nicely done.

Cheers! It's rather simple, just put a sticker (something small) on your window. It should do the trick.
And I think there are some other methods, but I think you know how to use Google?

Uh, amazing to see how many details of the bird can be found on the window! I hope this guy survived the crash.

Well Kevin there wasn't any body below the window so I assumed the bird flew off - the same happened 2 weeks ago but that bird died there and then poor thing

Aww bless. We had a pigion fly into our conservatory door. The detail was fantastic. you could even see the imprint of his open eyes. He flew off so he was OK. I've never seen one with the wings open though.

Squished fairy. But kidding aside, it is most likely bird crap.

I've had this appear on my window when a silly pigeon splatted into it. Fortunately, it survived but I don't think it did the poor thing a lot of good!

I know. You hear it and jump up thinking 'what the hell?'
I had a sparrowhawk (might have been a kestrel...I get them mixed up) crash into our conservatory a couple of years ago. It was stunned for about ten minutes during which time I could crouch down beside it and just admire it. I considered taing photos but didn't want to leave it. I was starting to worry and considering calling the local birds of prey centre when it came to its senses and finally flew away. Quite an experience though.

Yeah, if the poor things fly into it really hard you can see amazing detail in the window impression - of beak and feathers etc.
