Description
Here is one of the many Genetic Operations (Short name: GEN-Ops) soldiers. This man, as you can see from his unit markings, is from the 7th Infantry Regiment of GEN-Ops.

GEN-Ops operators are elite soldiers and are trained to counter and contain biological threats, natural or the makings of terrorists, and protect the public from such dangers. They are drawn from various elite infantry regiments of other Divisions, their parent Division (BIO-Ops/Biological Operations) or their own pool of cadets that desire to join the ranks of GEN-Ops operators directly. Where ever they came from, GEN-Ops operators are chosen for their elite skills, brutality and the mindset that sacrifices are inevitable. They must also be loyal, and the most willing to commit atrocities against civillians when ordered to. When cadets have finished military training and classroom sessions, they are required to go on an abduction mission to prove their brutality and their wroth to join a black operations group. In this abduction mission, they are either required to abduct a japanese civillian from the streets of any 'jap settlement' and send him/her back to a GEN-Ops lab for human testing (the specimen will die in the end, gassed to death) or simply conduct a massacre of japanese civillians. If they pass, they will be then considered full pledged GEN-Ops operators.

Standard equipment of the operators, as shown above, are similar to that of mainline troops with the only exception that GEN-Ops operators wear a gas mask (slightly modified to house a MTID-2 device) to protect themselves against aerosol contagions and carry along extra equipment such as antibiotics, portable microbe detector and sterilisers. Unlike standard soldiers, GEN-Ops operators carry around the CAAR-75 carbine rifle, which is lighter than the standard Strassbolt S34A.

Operators wear a NBC Hazmat suit over their uniform and under their body armor and gear when they will face potential biological threats or fight in contaminated enviroments. These NBC suits may be less bulkier than those of the past, but they are no less hotter and uncomfortable.

These soldiers are infamous among the japanese people for their brutality and cruelity against them. They are well described as 'demons' and 'kidnappers'.

GEN-Ops operators are deployed in situations like:

1. Wartime operations where they are responsible to activate a biological weapon.

2. Responding to terrorist biological attacks such as chemical bombs and such.

3. Containing eperdemics or pandemics such as an outbreak of an infectious diease and qurantine those who are infected. Some may be tasked to gather samples of the diease for study and development of a cure.

4. Abducting japanese civillians from 'jap settelments' to provide human test subjects for experiments (or simply torture).

5. Simple massacres.

Elite officers and high ranking personnel of both BIO-Ops and GEN-Ops wear a hood and wear a gas mask with red lenses (normal operators wear blue lenses). While then Squad leaders wear gas masks with green lenses.
