Description An update of the old Orgchart I made last year, with updated department names, more in depth detail regarding each department/faction/section's roles and even the Three Central Sections' (CENCOM, CPGC and IDEOKOM) logos as well as the addition of the National Founding Constitution (NFC) that is regarded as the highest source of power pertaining to anything that concerns the State as a whole.

So basically the Interstellar Republic of Singapore (IRS) is a highly centralized, highly bureaucratic and highly hierarchical one party authoritarian state, with most of the ruling power over the State residing in the Autarchs who are the ultimate authority however their power is kept in check by both the regulations and principles laid out in the Constitution as well as the Constitutional power within the Three Central Sections to challenge any of the Autarchs' decrees and even remove the Autarchs from office if there is a clear, obvious breach of the Constitution's most basic tenets and through an unanimous vote from all of the Three Central Sections plus a 95% vote from the citizenry through a nation-wide plebiscite.

What is called the Constitutional Socialist Autocracy focuses on efficiency of bureaucratic management and allocation of resources to where they are best used in order to ensure the growth of the State and fulfill the needs of the people. The State is effectively split into a number of Colonial Administrative Zones (CAZs) which consists of a number of Solar Systems ranging from 10 to 20 Solar Systems. Each CAZ is managed and ruled by a Civil Administrator who allocates both the yearly amount of resources given by the Central Government as well as those obtained within his/her own CAZ towards the development of the CAZ's economy and infrastructure. The CAZ is represented in the Galactic Parliament through the Senate of Representatives with their own respective Senator, who also functions as the highest adviser to the Civil Administrator.

A limited form of democracy exists in this bureaucratic and authoritarian government structure when it comes to Regional and City-based governance. City Mayors who preside over individual cities or districts and Regional Governors who govern an entire continent made up of several cities are allowed to be elected in through the popular vote of the people so that the people's needs for political involvement and participation are well fulfilled when they are able to determine a considerable part of their own local Region's governance. However, from the positions of Planetary Governor and upwards, candidates for those positions are not popularly elected and are instead shortlisted by IDEOKOM agents and finally chosen by government officials. A justification for this might be perhaps that an intergalactic-wide democracy would be too inefficient and fragmented to act decisively and that the normal citizenry are not concerned so much about anything that happens outside their local Regions or beyond their homeworlds, allowing for a balance between the potential efficiency of an unitary authoritarian government and sufficient political freedom of democracies.
