Description
The One Singapore Combat Regiments (OSCR, also pronounced as 'Oscars') is an intergalactic state-sponsored youth paramilitary group intended to enforce the IRS's ideology of patriotism and egalitarianism, coercing those who would promote any form of divisiveness, deviation or discrimination with physical violence and psychological warfare. Additionally, OSCRs serve to enhance local police forces in crime prevention, ensure a stable school environment for the Ministry of Education and provide a platform for young students to exercise and hone their leadership, athletic and tactical skills.

The Watchmen Corps is the basic backbone of any Regiment, made up of young, fresh and aspiring Cadets who have the heart to serve the nation but have yet to learn much of the skills required for OSCRs' more advanced operations. Watchmen primarily focus on preparing themselves, physically and ideologically, to be promoted to the more elite and more exciting Mobile Special Assault Group (MOSAG) by learning how to handle OSCRs' various weapons, equipment and tactics. Should they be deployed in battle, they are then deployed en masse to overwhelm the enemy and hold key positions through sheer numbers alone.

1. Watchman

Every Cadet who passed through basic training becomes a Watchman, the basic backbone of the Watchmen Corps and the OSCR as a whole. Watchmen are mainly assigned to patrols and guard duties while simultaneously going through additional training to rise through the ranks. They are very lightly armed with pellet pistols and batons for self-defence.

2. Rifleman

When the need arises, a Watchman can be given a pellet rifle and told to point and shoot, becoming Riflemen in the process. They are easily distinguished by their visible bandoliers and pouches which carry extra ammunition and rifle magazines. Riflemen work well in large numbers, forming firing lines capable of dishing out a devastating volley of rubber bullets to incapacitate entire mobs whole.

3. Skirmisher

In an event of school riots or other kinds of dangerous encounters, a Watchman can be equipped with a lightweight polymer riot shield and a stun baton to deal with the crowd. While not as cohesive or well trained as MOSAG's anti-riot squads, their agility and speed allows them to rush and overwhelm an enemy position in large numbers and hold key positions through sheer numerical might alone, long enough for MOSAG to come in and take over.
