Description
A squad of Light Infantrymen makes contact with the enemy in the dense jungle and prepares for an aggressive advance.

Drawn from the ranks of veteran Riflemen with at least five years of combat service, the Light Infantry is an elite formation tasked to navigate and fight in dense ardous terrain that conventional mechanized forces cannot operate in. With no vehicles, no high tech equipment save for a pair of multi-spectrum goggles and perhaps a recon drone and no logistical support for long periods of time, Light Infantrymen are well known for their insane amounts of endurance going into combat even with heavy field packs and survive in any kind of jungle for several months. Many of them would go on to fill the ranks of the RANGSI Commandos.

They are armed with low-tech weapons such as the gas-operated SAR-216 bullpup assault rifle and the RR-15 recoiless rifle for defeating enemy power armor, these weapons may lack firepower in comparison to railguns and laser rifles but are easier to maintain and are much more reliable in the environments they are in. They now also wear the standardized SIBAS-4 body armor, usually the Tactical Variant in SBO 2H configuration that allow them to carry more grenades. Light Infantrymen tactics calls for 'Aggressive Stealth', a combination of stealth and shock tactics which see them stalking their enemies making full use of camouflage and stealth to get as close as possible, attacking when the enemy is at their most vulnerable with grenades and close-range gunfire to ensure a quick and decisive victory.
