I'm sure those two are a great team in battle . So you think the background looks weird? The only thing that looks a bit weird to me there, is that on one side there are mountains and suddenly on the other side trees.

Yeah, the background is weird. I need to practice more about nature and environment for my drawing skills.

For Crit right?
off the bat i can say that your anatomy is good, but i'd like to point out that the raptor-like thing being ridden on has muscles that look humanoid (arms & legs).. animals have different muscles from humans! just a note to think about!
You also could try making different kinds of scales - look at most reptiles - they have areas with larger scales, and others with fine scales. some areas appear rougher than the others, and others may look really smooth.. I think that learning that could add some realism to your style!
Hmm the background could use a little gradation regarding the scenery - it kinda does look odd like you said coz one side is just pale trees, and the other side is lush grassy hills.. so the color and the landscape doesn't seem to match too well. maybe adding a tree or two on the treeless side might offset this imbalance!
lastly, Some well-placed sharp highlights and intense shadows could make the colors really pop out and maximize the detail that you put!
I like the amount of effort you put into your work! keep it up!

Well, thanks for your critique! But I'm still not a good artist as you are. I thought their anatomies are good. Now I think you're right, something's not quite well about my artwork.
Better I should practice more in my work.
Thanks --

Your pictures always looks great! I like the background, you seem to find it easy to come up with a good background, I always finds background hard to even come up with how it should look like, thus I sometimes uses photos as backgrounds

Thanks, I'm glad you like it! The background I make in every artwork is not so hard, just a little. I try to visualize the clean nature outside the house.

Wow, you did a good job with the texture, the trees looks kinda funny, they looks like grass on the top of the trees ^ ^Β° The stone and the mountains looks good as well. Keep improving on this ^ ^

Still I'm not good in making trees, but I'll try to view the trees ten meters away and find out its appearance.

I have 2 gripes with this picture.
The first is the lack of any discernible fingers.
The second is the trees look like dandelions. Straighter trunks and more a more pronounced leaf texture with less white would fix that.
By and by a good image.

Yeah, I respect your gripes. I'm still not good in making treetops.
And, thanks for your comment, by the way.
