I did not draw this, I'm just using this as a temporary Ref for Hatari. This is only for showing what his colors look like not his actual body/mane design. I will be drawing that out myself when I get the chance.

Anyways, new oc this time for a new rp over at it you haven't checked it out then you totally should!

Name: Hatari
Gender: Male
Age: Young Adult
Pride:The Nguvu Pride
Height: 5ft
Weight: 600lb
Physical description: Hatari is a big guy. He has a dark chocolate pelt with a lighter muzzle, under belly and toes. His nose is black and his eyes right is one solid color that's darker than his pelt. He has eyes that he says "resembles the blood of his enemies" and his mane is a darker blood red color, he has ear tufts and arm tufts that are darker than his mane. His claws are always unsheathed. He's a bulky guy and he can be a danger to those that cross him and his friends/family hence his name.
Personality: Like his name suggests he can be a danger to those that get in his way or tries to hurt his friends, family and pride. He's an ambitious lion and likes to use his size to his advantage, though it does slow him down a bit so he isn't as agile as a smaller lion would be. Some would say that he's a flirt and a womanizer, but what else is a guy to do when there are mostly lionesses in the same pride as you. So many to choose from, so many that he has yet to get his paws on. Only those that are close to him know that he can be caring and gentle to those he cares for, but he would never show anyone else that side of him. Ever. Though he's a nasty brute he stays loyal to his promises(most of the time ;D) He usually will try to avoid fighting at first usually just verbally and mentally abusing his opponent, but if all else fails that he will attack.
History: He was born in the Nguvu pride and since there wasn't many males in the pride he grew into a snarky, womanizing brute who thinks he can get away with sleeping with any female he lays eyes on. His dad died before he was born and his mom died right after he was born, therefore he never really knew them and when he was alone as a cub he would make up stories about them "Heroes of Nguvu Pride" was his favorite story about them. One day when he was an older teen he he was in a particularly bad mood from having a fight with a lioness in his pride so he went for a walk and he found an older, weaker male near their territory. Hatari being Hatari walked over to the male and asked him what his business there was and the male told him he needed someone to kill him. Hatari thought this was strange, but asked the elder what he would give him in exchange. The lion had nothing, so naturally Hatari declined to help him in any way.. not like he was going to anyways. He had no reason to kill someone who did nothing to him. That was until the elder lion growled and without any warning he launched himself at Hatari which surprised Hatari and his instincts kicked in and he twisted his body around to swat the opponent off of him. He watched the other lion fall and Hatari slowly walked over to him and pinned him to the ground, putting his paw to the old lion's throat and growling. "Look me in the eyes.." he hissed breathing heavily while forcing the old lions eyes to meet his. "Do you see them? They're the color of my enemies blood.. now you left me with no choice, but to see you as an enemy. I hope you know what's coming to you now." he snapped pushing harder on his throat making the other lion gag before responding. "I'm getting what I wanted you idiot!" he gasped spitting blood at Hatari. Hatari snarled at him, "No.. no you aren't." he said taking his paw from his throat and getting off the male. "Not today at least." and with that he ran back home to take his mind off of his encounter with the estrange elder lion. Ever since that day he encountered the lion he used the same description to describe his eyes, it had a ring to it and he liked it. A few years later he's still the same lion except has more height and weight on him and the story goes on from there..
