Here's my Sakura and Li costume. We won best in show. All the stitching on the Li one is done by hand, half of Sakura's is done by hand and half by machine...the sword was a moded prop from CHina town, D'Arcymade the Sakura staff.
Cosplay materials:
clear plastic box, packing foam, wooden balls (for hat and staff), green, orange, pink, black broadcloth, yelow polyester, white lining cloth, golden bells (14 for Sakura, 4 for Li), red yarn, posterboard, model paint, opalscent gaush wash, paper tubing, styrofoam, headand, cardstock, wigs, contacts, hook and eyes, black buttons, white ribbon, cotton string, moded chinese shoes, concealer for Sakura's 5 o clock shadow.
;And then you get a Sakura and a Li!

Well, I'ma partay it up with all my friends, make some new ones, squish six people into a double dorm. You know, the usual of Anime Evolution. Might double again as Hinata~ :3 It's gonna be fun, fun, fun~!! <3 Just like last year and the year before and the year before~!! Hehe. Tho last year kind of sucked compaired. O3o;;

last year was my first year at AE and I had a blast. Apprently the townhouses where my group stayed last year are under renovations this year, so who knows where we'll stay.

The Simon Hotel. Though I'm not sure where exactly it is. O3o I was reading the site as to acomodations and I saw something about it.. Alot cheaper then just about any nice hotel you'll find in Van really. As for my group, like I said, we're just getting a double dorm. Which is really cheap for six people to cram into. xD But hey, we're only in there to sleep a few hours and then we're out and about with the AE crowd~ :3 But yeh, the townhouses are under renovations, so it kinda sucks, seeing as we were originally gonna get one of those. XD But neh, its' not hard to figure things out~ :3

Simon hotel? Perfect, thanks for letting me know, my friends and i will have to book a room early if we want to get one, what with having the townhouses under renos. We'll definately see you around. I doubt it'll be possible to miss our lot. XD

Anime Evolution is in Vancouver in August...last year it cost me about...130$ for the trip, not counting dealer's room money...
Altogether it cost me about 500$ including the loot i grabbed and the food i ate there.
