I wish the image was more clear, but it's still obvious how incredibly beautiful this is. Everything about it is very visually striking, from the contrasts to the textures to the color scheme. The vertical orientation of the strokes in the backdrop is a nice visual contrast to the texture of the foliage, and the yellow and hints of red in it help normalize the blossoms without competing with them for attention. Those brilliant yellow centers, gorgeous flaming reds, and bright blue highlights make the subject blossoms stand out beautifully and dominate the painting as the focal points. The way the foliage is painted gives the impression that it is thick and luscious.
