Description and now here's some literature so I can earn extra imaginary currency for no real reason :'D
it's lightly based off of Little April Shower from Bambi www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-FUcr…

Though the day was warm, a cool breeze whispered through the birch trees. It spoke of rain, and the scent it carried told the same tale. "Great." Prince murmured as he continued his saunter through the forest.
"What's great?" his bouncy companion asked as she hopped up from behind him.
"Nothing, I was being sarcastic, it's going to rain."
"Nothing?" The perky Fen questioned, "Nothing wrong with a little rain!"
"Kit. Stop." Prince demanded in reference to her incessant hopping.
"Oh," she replied in a less jubilant tone as she ceased her joyful jumping, "my bad..."
Prince sighed, "I don't like getting wet, it doesn't feel... right." Kitty watched his hoofpaws, trying to match his pace as she walked beside him. "I don't mind it," she said, her voice regaining it's high-pitched, happy timbre, "I actually like getting wet, 'cause then the dirt gets stuck to my feets and my tail gets all wet and drippy and I like to sling it around." She chuckled as she stopped to fall into a playful bow, swish her long, cat-like tail rapidly back and forth as a demonstration. "that sounds disgusting." The cold male replied curtly, not even bothering to look back at her display.
Kitty did not respond to his harsh words, but instead bounced up to him, closing the small distance between the two. "So, where are we going?"
"I'm going to look for somewhere dry before it starts to rain, you can go. Away."
"But... but I thought we were a Bevy, ya know?"
"No, I don't know, because we're not a bevy. We're not anything."
The moment Prince finished speaking, a drop of rain splashed down on the tip of his snout, and he shook his head. Mumbling under his breath, the Fen sped up his pace, powering through the various sprinkles of water that managed to land themselves on his body. "Water falls out of the entire sky, but it can't land anywhere else..." he said in a low voice, speaking to no one but himself. Kitty followed quietly behind him. She had spent enough time with the aloof male to know that he needed time to himself. Even if he really felt that way, she knew he was willing to put up with her so long as she gave him some space every so often.
Prince managed to find what appeared to be a disrupted den or some sort of earthy overpass. The Light only knows what had happened to the little nook before they arrived, but for now it was simply just a safe, dry place.
"You're still here?" The male asked rhetorically, though he legitimately questioned to himself why the other Fen continued to follow him around despite his constant negativity. "Yup," she replied in a low voice, "still here." It was difficult for Kitty to keep a positive attitude around such a negative person, but she knew he wasn't a bad Fen, just one who preferred to be a loner. "Look," she started, "I-I know... sometimes... I can be hard to get along with..., but I do wanna be your friend." It was almost as if she could read his mind. Kitty took the words right out of Prince's mouth- the words he would never let himself say, though he knew they were true. "Whatever." he huffed.
Suddenly, a sharp shot of lightning struck the ground and the two squeaked out of shear fear of the piercing thunder. Kitty slammed herself into Prince's chest, and the male locked his legs in place so that he wouldn't fall- he refused to let no more than his feet touch the filthy, wet ground. Kitty whimpered as she sat on the ground, shaking, and nuzzling in Prince's soft neck fur for comfort. "Kit..." he said in a stony voice. "S-sorry," she replied in a quivering tone, "I just, I-I-" At that, another bolt of lighting struck and the frighten female squeaked again, burying herself deeper into Prince's mane.
The stoic male kept his body rigid, but took pity on the Fen and allowed her to stick so unbearably close to him. He could feel her cool, damp fur pressing through his own and it was maddening. But, after some time, she just felt warm. Prince wasn't privy to the warm feeling of someone kind and caring next to you. Though, at this time, she was scared, shaking, and wet, he was sure this feeling, this warmth, was the reason she wanted to be with him.
In time, the storm died down to just a few drops of rain here and there, and Kitty had relaxed and even began humming to herself though she still kept her head rested on Prince's chest and had no plans to remove herself until he told her to. "Hey, Kit?" Prince asked. "Yes~?" Kitty responded in a sing-song voice, tapping the tip of her long wet tail in puddle.
"I'm sorry... for-"
"I know."
