Description After hearing the news, Rich chose to keep himself hidden away from the truculent mobs that flooded the streets. He pitied the less fortunate who fell victim to the strays' assault, but he couldn't risk leaving his master vulnerable while he was off fighting someone else's battle. Moreover, what good could he do in a time like this anyway? His brittle teeth and tired bones where of little use even to himself anymore. It was best for the old mutt to save what fight he had left in him for if- or more likely, when- the vagrants came barging in on his territory looking to take what wasn't theirs.

that's good to hear, 'cause I've never actually experience a sweet old dog before :'D
there was this gross old beagle a family friend use to have named Pete, and I'd lay on the floor with him and mess with his moles, but he wasn't particularity friendly or anything, I just really like dogs :'''D

I did have a ferret a few years back who we honestly should've had put down a year before he actually died, 'cause he was in real bad shape. He was a murderous demon since the day we got him, but after his best friend died (our other ferret) he was depressed for the rest of his life and it really tamed his demonic soul.
I remember he got cataracts so he'd follow me around the house, and then his back legs gave out so I'd hafta take him up and down the stairs so he could sleep with me while I was in bed or on the couch
It was really cute, but also really sad :'V
and he was terrified of our satanic dog, but when he got older he couldn't see her, so he'd just smell her from like 8 inches away and stand completely still for god knows how long until she went away or I picked him up

but yea, he went from literally trying to eat us in our sleep to being a complete sweet heart and sleeping with me and preening me and it was great and that was my baby, but I wasn't sad when he died because he was way past his expiration date

Aw my goodness, thats so interesting and sad and sweet but also happy at the same time. An emotional roller coster. I hope your ferret is playing with his best ferret friend in ferret heaven.

yea, ferrets have about the same lifespan as a wolf, so after they died I was like "haha, okay, no more, my heart can't take this"
but now we have three ferrets and they're a year and a half old and it stresses me out because they might die in 5 years and i'm not ready
and I'm sure Bentley will be the first to go because she's a tiny little runt, but if she dies, I die
one time she got out of the house and I couldn't find her for 12 hours and I don't think I breathed that day

Oh my gosh the stress levelllls

This is why I picked a chinchilla as my pet, they live for 15-20 years and I can't handle pet deaths, also she will be able to meet any future children I have

Do you have any pictures of said ferrets? I live in CA so not alot of people openly show their ferrets XD

ferrets never stop moving when they're conscious, so I don't have many pictures of them :'''D
This is our first ferret Dobo, he was a good, pure son
that's Socks (the dusty old ferret that wanted to kill us all)
Stubbs, my actual first born son whom I treasure dearly
Bentley, the reincarnation of Socks, she is smol and murderous
www.instagram.com/p/BgVZK3gFuZ… this is Sly Cooper (we usually call him Sly, but we call him Cooper when he steals things) Ferrets are very intelligent animals, but Sly is legitimately stupid ._.
