Nether does the elderscrolls well you get a final boss and then you get to do what ever you want

In Guild Wars 2, there are chapters, so there's a final boss for each chapter, but the story never ends
that's why I'm so butthurt that I don't have the Heart of Thorns expansion, because I can't experience that part of the story ;-;
