Description
A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Fedorov Sniper Las-Rifle belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force.
It is a powerful Las Weapon specially designed for Grenadiers, Imperial Guard Sharpshooters and sufficiently skilled PDF troopers, to serve as an extreme long-range weapon for high-risk operations, which must combine high damage output with accuracy and versatility. This Long-Las is a specially modified version of the Fedorov Las-Rifle, crafted for increased range and accuracy. Made by the best armourers on the planet, its furniture is made of local "crimson" Eucalyptus Imperialis tree wood and its mechanical components are of a higher quality than standard Lasguns or Lascarbines. Originally derived from an ancient archeotech design, the Fedorov Sniper Las-Rifle packs a greater punch than a regular Long-Las and features an unusual high cycle-charge chamber allowing it to fire two shots with a single pull of the trigger, with a 0.01 seconds delay. This pattern is notable for its heavily reinforced energy transfer capacitors, overall durability and being a remarkably robust and easy to use weapon.
This weapon is only ever issued to those troopers who have displayed a flair for marksmanship, stealth operations and scout movement, for its production is difficult and time consuming and requires more training and intelligence to utilise properly. A long flash suppressor fitted to the gun muzzle ensures that the telltale flashes of the Long-Las' shots does not betray the sniper's position. The rifle does not have a charge setting slider, instead employing specialised ammunition known as a hotshot power pack. A hotshot power pack is a high-power energy magazine with liquid metal batteries that fires fewer blasts, through a single power pack is good for approximately twenty shots. However, the hotshot power pack compensates for this by providing the weapon with a greater lethality index. This pattern has iron sights mounted along the top of the weapon, but also includes a standard rail for scopes (and other attachments) and an integrated bipod for stable firing from the prone position. Over the millennia, the Fedorov pattern has been improved and changed many times. There have been dozens of variants, but only a few have made any radical differences in the weapon's function, since all of its variants have the same basic features.
Despite its effectiveness and reputation, this pattern was eventually phased out of large scale production after the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum, in favour of the cheaper and more compact (but equally as effective) Stronskiy pattern Sniper Las-Rifle, as this catastrophic event forced the planet to improve and expand its defensive capabilities in order to survive.
