Description
A semi original weapon I made for my imperial world.

The Stronskiy Sniper Las-Rifle belongs to the Astra Militarum regiments of Kray Mira and it's Planetary Defense Force.
It is a powerful Las Weapon specially designed for Grenadiers, Imperial Guard Sharpshooters and sufficiently skilled PDF troopers, to serve as an extreme long-range weapon for high-risk operations, which must combine high damage output with accuracy and versatility. Unlike most Long-Las variants, which are modified versions of the standard Lasgun, this pattern was specially designed and crafted for increased range and accuracy, and exhibits enough differences to be considered separate weapon all together. This weapon is only ever issued to those troopers who have displayed a flair for marksmanship, stealth operations and scout movement, for its production is difficult and time consuming and requires more training and intelligence to utilise properly. A long flash suppressor fitted to the gun muzzle ensures that the telltale flashes of the Long-Las' shots does not betray the sniper's position. The rifle does not have a charge setting slider, instead employing specialised ammunition known as a hotshot power pack. A hotshot power pack is a high-power energy magazine with liquid metal batteries that fires fewer blasts, through a single power pack is good for approximately twenty shots. However, the hotshot power pack compensates for this by providing the weapon with a greater lethality index. This pattern has iron sights mounted along the top of the weapon, but also includes a standard rail for scopes (and other attachments) and an integrated bipod for stable firing from the prone position. Though Kray Mira normally employed a specially modified version of the ancient Fedorov pattern Las-Rifle, the formation of the Cicatrix Maledictum forced the planet to improve and expand its defensive capabilities in order to survive. Due to their loyalty and numerous contributions to the Indomitus Crusade, all of Kray Mira's subtle tech heresies were overlooked/allowed to continue by the Adeptus Mechanicus.
