Description

I had a difficult time picking an appropriate preview image for this one. Gamma Rage is one of those GIFS that I thought was great at the time but didn't age well throughout the years. This animation was directly inspired by Zebodoy's Paladin's comic and it was an attempt to give Anna a little bit more screen time.

Behind the scenes:

- Amanda's pose was based off Gideon's artwork.

- Anna was supposed to be the initial vessel for Reigh but it didn't work out.

- I accidentally made Anna too tiny in comparison to the floor, so you don't really see the effects of the hulk out.

- The hulkouts were very lazy and rushed. I started using photoshop's free transform tool and hue and saturation tool to cheat on the animation.

- Anna looks like she's having a potty dance in that first scene, whoops.

- The subway hulkout was inspired by FemForteFan. It's probably the only scene I think is OK in the animation.

Ultimately, I think Gamma Rage ended up being one of my more disappointing GIFS. Again, when I drew it at the time it seemed like it would be great and awesome. I liked it then, but now after all these years I see that I got way to lazy with the animations. Even though the detailed FMG animations in the previous GIF were not to my liking, they were still better than the lazy animations in Gamma Rage. I was also quite surprised with how short it was. Compared to Hero which was super long, Gamma Rage surprised me with its brevity. Even though my GIFS prior to Divine Retribution were lacking in quality, I still feel they were better than the end result of Gamma Rage.
