Okay, I'm a little peeved. For some reason DA did not upload my file when I scheduled it and now I lost all the text I had written giving a background on this GIF. So here's the cliff notes.

Behind the scenes:

- I liked the word rapture but I didn't like what it meant. So I changed it to suit my meaning as explained in the beginning.

- The image of Jenna in the thumbnail is based off a Cori Nadine She-Hulk photomanip, down to the placement of the text.

- This animation is where I sort of retconn Jenna's origin story. The truth is, I was inspired of a striking image of Nikki Fuller wearing only metal, birdshaped pasties, and a silver bikini. Someone, Coyote I believe, then manipulated the image to look like she was wearing a plate mail bikini with chains serving as the straps. This led me into thinking of Jenna as a Valkyrie and I was interested in drawing and animating Jenna in Valkyrie form.

However, I soon discovered that drawing individual feathers in animation is a MASSIVE PAIN IN THE ASS. Now I finally understood why Hawkgirl and Hawkman in the Justice League animated series, didn't have flapping wings or detailed feathers. Feathers are easier to accomplish in a 3d program, but drawing them by hand is a tedious, mind-numbing process.

- I enjoyed the part where Zia (Chun-Li) reverts back to her normal human form. I kind of wish I had done more reversion sequences as well, as it can be pretty fun to see the women shrink back... then hulk up again.

- Continuity error. In the medium shot, Jenna's feet burst open her shoes. But in the shot following immediately after, her feet rip through her shoes again. Out of all the times I've drawn her feet, I think this animation depicted them the best.

Closing thoughts. We are only two animations away from ending a series that never got an ending.
