Rapturous Veteran (5E)Copic marker and colored pencil over digital background

2018
In 2017, I held a contest on the Sisters of Rapture dA group (there's a link at the right of this page) wherein I promised that one lucky winner would see his or her Sister of Rapture character appear in an illustration in the upcoming Sisters of Rapture 5E Edition RPG book from Fantastic Gallery. I got four entries and they were all so good that I decided to use all of them. While all four may appear in other illustrations, I've decided to use three of them as representations of the generic SRP (that's the new abbreviation for the class since "SOR" is for sorcerers) stat blocks that appear at the end of the book: the Rapturous Novitiate (low-level), the Honored Sister (mid-level) and the Rapturous Veteran (high-level). This is the third one, the rapturous Veteran The character was designed by ProdigyDuck.

Another intense looking sister. I like how you left room for some skin under the breast, and have the loincloth section start low on the hips, I like how it shows off the lower torso.
I do notice that both the veteran and the noviate have quite the Egyptian feel to them. Nice to keep them in a theme for these templates.
I do look forward to seeing the rest of the artwork for the book.

Both those characters just happened to be Egyptian themed. It's a bit weird to have 2/3 of the sample characters worshipping Egyptian goddesses, but the 5E version of the class doesn't emphasize individual goddess as much as the 3.5/PF versions did, so I figured it was okay. I was originally going to have some pubic hair sticking up there, but then I remembered that the ancient Egyptians were all about shaving off every bit of hair they had (including their eyebrows), so I left her smooth.

It is one of the things I really like about 5th. It's much easier to create your own Pantheon for new players (I haven't had problems with that in ages, but I'm a 25 year dnd veteran).
I can't say for sure about Egyptians as a whole, but Egyptian priests used to ritually wash and shave every morning before going into the sanctuary, so good call.
