Thoughts:
Late night sketch before going to bed. When I saw the ref, I just had to paint it. I tried to stay loose and only paint big shapes... at least, in the beginning.
The temptation for detail was too great though, and I ended up fleshing it out a bit.Still, I think I managed to stick with the looseness fairly well.
