Going back again to the days in Lisbon last September, this photo is from the Palacio Nacional in the beautiful Plaça Rossio! Story has it that I was meeting Maria, with whom I stayed for half of my stay in Lisbon, at the fountain in the Plaza. As funny things tend to happen whenever I am involved, I did not see her, nor did she see me. Reason for that, was that there are two identical (well, to the best of my memory, which isn't too good) fountains, so she was waiting for me in the other one, while I was in the one in front of the theatre. As most of my sightseein in Lisbon was during the evenings -working all day!-, I decided to take out the tripod and start shooting some night photos while waiting! We eventually did meet and since we had some time to spare before the play (in portuguese!!) started, I got a couple of additional shots off. Compositionwise, this is the one I like the most. I find the colors really incredible! All natural lighting provided by the city of Lisbon though, so compliments to them and being really good at presenting their architecture!
