it is an interesting subject to take a photo of! what kind of colours are these? I just read it's acrylic, as i thought ^^
Interesting structure, i don't see that big amount of sparkling colours. I'd try to put it in the light completely and get reed of this black shadow on the colour. I think it's very pretty in the light! Btw, you transmitted it to black and white also very nicely

It's a nice black and white conversion you have created! Since you submitted for feedback, I have some suggestions for you:
- In the sink next to the one you photographed is a very dark patch. This is distracting from the main-subject. Perhaps next time, when framing, make sure nothing that could be a potential distraction is in the picture! 
The harsh shadows create a nice texture, and the almost glittering texture of the paint is a rather nice touch to this! I like the monochrome, it helps to bring out the textures! Good job!
