- give him a big hug and assure him everything will be okay.
- tell him some funny jokes.
- tickle his toes.

Excellent job on the linework and texture, but is the light source a little off? According to his feet and horns, it looks up and to the left, but according to neck and arms, it should be behind him, if his neck is casting the shadow. Or, the shadow on his neck and arms is cast by his head, not the bulk of his neck... which means there probably shouldn't be that light patch of flesh directly below his arm, because there's no chance that his head shadow would terminate perfectly at the edge of his arm. And then it wouldn't agree with that shadow that his wing is throwing straight down onto the root of his tail, on the right side... am I reading this right at all?
I wouldn't even bring it up, except that you're too good at shading for something like that to fall through the cracks, and now it's bugging me. X3
