Anxious yet excited Teddy thought about what she was about to do. She attempted to make herself look presentable, pushing her hair to one shoulder to hide the hideous bear face, tightening the already too-tight bow, and smoothing out her torn skirt. She took in a deep breath which did not relieve the churning of her stomach or prevent the thoughts of the negativity from wrapping around her mind.
But, she had to do this. To know once and for all that she no longer had to hold the burden of this secret. She needed this heavy weight to lift from her shoulder. Not knowing what he'd say was killing her slowly. She took another deep breath before heading into the forest, her hands clenched into fists, her nails digging into her skin. The pain managed to subdue the anxiety.

She had finally come across him, watching him from behind the trees. She felt her heart hammer in her chest, stomach twisting into knots as she choked on her words. Though everything felt horrible she couldn't help but smile weakly in his direction. He seemed perfect. He was perfect.
"Hey! Synthetic!" The words fled from her mouth before she could comprehend what she had did. The male turned around staring at her from where he stood. She emerged from the trees slowly, her body feeling paralyzed and numb. A hot fire flashed across her pink cheek as she mustered a smile.
"Hey Ted." The one addressed as 'Synthetic' greeted. She stared at him awkwardly trying to find her voice.
"H-hey..." She swallowed hard, trying to swallow her emotions and words that decided to have a gathering in her throat.
"Is there something ya need?" Teddy only nodded, and nodded, and nodded. The fire spread across her cheek growing stronger.
"I-I uh-" I think I love you.

What do you think you're doing!? Her thoughts snapped at her. You think he cares, that he wants to know that a miserable girl like you has a little crush on him?! You are absolutely idiotic if you think someone gives a damn about you. He probably deals with you because you won't go away. So tell him about your little school girl crush... Watch how fast he disappears.

"You okay Teddy?" His friendly voice was stained with slight concern as Teddy looked up from the ground. Her eyes stung with tears, her lips pulled into a frown. She backed up a bit, her heart seemingly shattered now.
"Y-yeah." She whispered.
"...What did you need to say?" Synthetic asked, his smile slightly fading.
"Nothing." She choked out. "Nevermind."
