Description
This is a picture taken a few days ago under the red maples that grow out in front of the front entryway to my family's home in eastern Kentucky. I took several pictures of them, though this is the first to be uploaded. I'm so very glad I went out and took the pics when the inspiration hit me; a day after, a terrible storm blew through and the trees are very nearly denuded now.I have left the pic a little large (1024x768) so that anyone who keeps a reasonable screen resolution can use it for wallpaper if they like.
Fullview please! You really miss the details in this large piece otherwise.
EDIT: The size I had left the pic at was just too obscene to fullview, so it has been reduced to a reasonable size.

Very pretty! I love the red... and the comp. Does your camera take a converter & filters? A polarizer would really help the sky.

Uhm... I don't know? Heh heh... It's a Nikon Coolpics of one model or another. I have issues with it cause I have yet to figure out how to make it let me manually set the focus. Ah well... Any Photoshop hints?

Reading the manual helps out way much! heh I shiite you not. But I've no clue about the mf. Hmmm. You could try to add a dupe (or even a new) layer to it. For the dupe play with the color. More blue. But then you'd have to go back over and erase the leaves because they become more purply. But it looks great as is, I was just saying, for future blue skies. : )
