Description
Costume made by me from the series princess tutu.Its a casa collection satin dress with 6 yards of pink netting and 6 ards of pink tulle. The costume is had a sewen in bra and clear plastic staps helping it stay up.
The necklace is made of foamie painted gold and gems are glued on. The wings on the necklace are of transparent acetate.
tutu crown is made of pvc vinyl lined with yellow cotton. and the wig is an orange bob base with hair piece made of white weave tracks sew into bias tape and added with maribu feather striping.

Your cosplays is absolutly amazing!!I'm actually wanting to cosplay this at the end of July at MetroCon in Flordia, but I cant find any pattern for it (the top-half mainly). My mom is going to help me make it but she doesnt normaly make clothes and needs a pattern. By chance do you know where I could get a hold of one??

i used a princess seam prom dress patten and just altered the top of the gown to points and stopped the bodice at the waist so i could add a dirndl skirt. then used clear elastic for strap!! then wore some spankies or cheer bottoms. ^^

i kind of cheated and used a formal dress pattern then i bought some cheerleading spankies and wore them together^^ so it looked like one piece but was really two!

Heh I was at Katsucon on Sunday, I saw another Tutu. I noticed though that both of you have orange wigs instead of pink ones.

her wings *are* a goldish yellow at least in the anime and all the pictures i have seen. she never had pink ones unles you are thinking of the manga...which is completely different anyhow!! LOL...her tights were pink but i forgot those LOL.
