Thank you for all your suggestions for the illustrations!
Seems like at the moment a Tez-vs-Mic-encounter is winning! So I'll draw that first, I guess.
Rest assured that I will keep all your other ideas in mind, though.
They will be used for the next pictures. And of course you can always suggest new ideas, I will look out for them and note them down.You really helped me out there, now I have a lot of new ideas in my head that I can get to drawing, and I even know you will most definitely like them!

You see, I showed you this peaceful childhood moment earlier on purpose, so you won't go bashing Tez for his cruelty. Well, you may go and bash him anyway, he's an arse. LOL.
But, he was always like that. It's not like he was any different back when Itztli was younger. He will not tolerate cheek or disobedience, but will reward you if you show respect, don't question him and do what he says... he can be your enemy, or your patron, but most of the time he is both. He is unpredictable.
I hope this helps understanding Tez a bit better.
Oh and no. Itztli is not dangerously wounded, don't worry.

I actually had a dream about Tez recently. It was the apocalypse and he and Quetzalcoatl were actually trying to help me survive it and I asked Tez about the Aztecs and his past and he made me feel extremely apprehensive about approaching him and he did those uncomfortable pauses before he would respond but, when he finally did his voice was very calm and smooth. I remember I asked him if he could ever bring people back to life and he said "...Yes" and then I asked him why he never did then and he did a super long pause and said "Because I didn't want to." I think that's a huge statement for the kind of God Tez is. He is capable of many things but, he does whatever he wants just because.
I have to say, your modern day drawing of him and Itzli truly inspired the look of him and his brother in my dream. They looked just like twins with long, beautiful black hair, handsome colored skin, and of course awesome ear plugs and piercings. Quetzal was really happy that Tez was getting along with me and after I talked to Tez I actually gave him a kiss on the cheek and kind of ran away in fear but, he didn't go after me, he just took it and sat there. It was a very interesting dream haha.

I always tend to dream about characters and people when I'm not really focusing on them. It's kind of weird. haha. I'm glad you enjoyed reading about it. I have a mighty need to draw both of them in modern style now. Hopefully I will do it soon.
