The Gengar turned an entire village against the Pikachu and her partner, forcing them to become fugitives and fight for dear life as Rescue teams cease their usual activities in order to hunt them down and eliminate 'em.
But hey, past is in the past. Now the Gengar and Pi are on good terms. Somewhat.
