Shio thought quickly, jumping out of the way and landing behind a pillar. He took his hand out of his pocket and looked at what he was holding, a syringe filled some blue substance. he laughed as he injected himself, a sudden rush pulsing through his body. he turned his head as he felt the heat of another Incinerate blast. He stood up and watched people ran for cover, Sara included. Shio felt the power of the plasmid coursing through his body as he looked at his arm. A vein was clearly visible as it glowed a bright electric blue color. Small bolts of electricity shot from his fingertips and his palm. He grinned as he stepped away from the pillar and shot a bolt of electricity towards the man.
"Bulls eye!" he yelled as he began to run towards the man, punching him in the face. Shio stood where he was for a second, watching as people stood up and looked at him, then at the man on the floor. Almost at once, the man jumped up, firing back at the unsuspecting Shio. Struck on the side by the scorching flames, Shio dove back for cover. Cringing in pain, he put his hand to his side and looked around for Sara.
"Come out to play you little bug!" yelled the man as he began to walk towards where Shio was hiding. By this time, more and more people had gathered around to see what all the commotion was about. Shio spotted Sara as he grinned and shook his head. She looked worried, just like everyone else that was sticking around for the show. Shio closed his eyes as he heard the mans footsteps coming closer. He winked at Sara as he stood up and shot another blast of electricity. Another direct hit. Shio ran around the pillar, reaching out for the pipe that the man was holding. With a quick swipe, the man flew a few inches onto the ground, out cold. The crows of people got silent, not a sound was made as Shio got closer, kneeling down to check his pulse.
"Still alive. But out for a while." said Shio as he grinned and stood up. The sound of cheering was heard throughout the second floor of Poseidon Plaza. Shio laughed as he looked around for any sign of Sara through the crowd of people that began to run towards him. Celebration was cut short at once as the sound of a gunshot rung through the second floor. Shio watched as everyone turned to face the man who shot the gun. A surprised gasp escaped everyones lips as they saw who had shot.
