The mans spliced body lay on the ground, lifeless as blood slowly trickled away from the body. His face had been blown to bits from the shotgun blast, pieces of brain and skull covering the ground that Shio had just stood on. No one was facing him anymore. The figure stood in front of the mob of people, holding the shotgun in one hand and a pair of handcuffs in the other. Shio's eyes grew bigger as he realized that the handcuffs were for either the dead man, or for him. And considering the condition that the other man was in, he had a pretty good idea who they were for.
"Who is the man that took on this Splicer?" yelled Andrew Ryan, the founder of Rapture. No one answered as Shio tried backing away from the crowd. Stepping on shoes, and a couple toes, he walked back slowly, trying to get out of the crowd. Almost at once, his arm was grabbed and he was pulled to his right.Sara put her hand over his mouth as she she shook her head and began to walk backwards as well. They both stopped in their tracks as they heard the sound of another gun shot. This time, a man lay on the floor in front of everyone. Shio took Sara's hand away from his mouth as pushed and shoved his way through the crowd of people to the front. Another man lied on his back, blood flowing freely from his stomach. His intestine seemed to be flowing out as well, but in pieces. "The next man trying to cover up for this rat is going down just as bad." said Ryan as he cocked his gun, aiming for anyone to walk out, trying to cover for him. Shio sighed as he looked back, trying to find Sara. He shook his head as he stepped out of the crowd and held his arm out.
"Me sir. I think you can tell for sure because of my arm, correct Mr. Ryan?" asked Shio as he grinned and stood face-to-face with the man that built the so called utopia.
"Ahh another child. You kids should know that abusing plasmids is something that only adults in Rapture are doing. It doesn't make you cooler or anything of the sort." said Ryan as he held out the handcuffs, motioning for Shio to put them on. He sighed as he shook his head and held both arms out. The handcuffs were slapped on his wrists as he turned his head to try and find Sara. She was in the front of the crowd, tears beginning to stream down her cheeks. He winked at her as he turned back around and followed Ryan out of Poseidon Plaza.
