Good God, whoever thought this redesign was a great idea as a variant cover? Am I looking at the Fantastic Four during Reed's midlife crisis, or a quartet of rejected Rob Liefeld designs hired by Johnny Storm as a prank? Why the HELL is The Thing wearing Diehard's mask? He doesn't have a secret identity, the mask isn't hiding any gadgets or protecting his skull, he's basically a living suit of Rock Armour! Who's the Carnival Penis in Marvel's marketing department that thought giving guns to THE INVISIBLE WOMAN and THE THING was a good idea? Ben Grimm can punt tanks into the stratosphere with his bare fucking feet, and Sue Richards can create invisible constructs with her mind! Why is the '4' on Sue Richard's costume a boob window? What possible reason could you have for designing a suit with a 4-shaped boob window? Why the bloody hell is Reed Richards wearing a Scouter & tactical vest OVER his costume? It's designed to stretch WITH him, you fucks! And why, out of the entire crew, does Johnny Fucking Storm need to wear a leather jacket? HE SETS HIMSELF ON FUCKING FIRE! His costume is already DESIGNED to resist those flames! Anything else he wears bursts into flames! Did he get it from the same shop as fucking Snow from Final Fantasy 13!? WHY ARE THE FANTASTIC FOUR WIELDING GUNS, DO THEIR SUPERPOWERS NOT WORK!?!
