Description

Notes: If any Sentai series deserves the Amazons treatment, it would probably be either JAKQ or (the subject of this miniseries) Kyoryu Sentai Zyuranger. It has an amazing premise (Dinosaur Knights in a world of magic and danger, where friends and foes lurk on every side), but didn't really use it very well up until halfway through the series. Essentially, this version of Zyuranger is more along the lines of Lord of the Rings with Dinosaurs. It takes place entirely in a fantasy world separate from Earth, the characters are given more depth and the Dinosaur mythos is explored in more detail.

Starting with Geki, Prince of the Yamato Tribe. In this version of Zyuranger, Geki is still the long-lost son of the Black Knight. However, this version of Geki is more like a manlier Alata from Goseiger; optimistic in the face of danger, determined to defend his kingdom no matter the cost and always ready to lend a helping hand, but can still get in way over his head.
