An OC Rider conceptualized by Jmasta32 for "Kamen Rider Decade Gekijoban: Gaia Aftershock". This Rider's motif is the game of Chess, and, in particular, the Rook Piece. Those large blocky things on his body, for those who are wondering, are Ramparts, to represent the appearance of the piece he's using.

Check's human name is Takato Uchiha (No relation to the Uchiha clan from Naruto), a highly intellectual young man whose intelligence distances himself from others, and is trying to save his brother Takuya Uchiha, AKA Kamen Rider Straight, from the Kaijin-run Dealer Organization. Henshin is done by removing the Cobalt-Blue Check Driver from his pocket and placing it on his waist. He then removes a small mechanical rook piece from his pocket that resembles those from Harry Potter's Magic Chess. Placing the piece into the Active Tray on the right side of the Driver, Takato announces "HENSHIN!" and slides the tray closed, then pushes down on the Active Switch on the left side to initiate the transformation. Rook is Check's first upgraded form, and wields the Rook Macir, a pair of large, spiked maces as weapons. Due in equal parts to the sheer size and amout of his armor AND teh weight of his weapons, Rook is Check's slowest form, but packs the most power... until his ultimate form shows up, that is! XD Finisher is "CHECKMATE GAMBIT: Rook Slider", an illusory attack where he uses a sudden burst of speed to get behind his foe and slam them while they stare, bewildered, at an afterimage. All kaijin are based on games. Props to Jmasta32 for this one.

I used an official image of Kamen Rider Double as my reference image. In truth, the chest armor caused me a lot of trouble on this one, but i decided to stay with the Rampart design. I think it looks alright.
