An exercise in perspective from my figure drawing class tonight. I was quite happy with the way it turned out.Related content

I like the strength of your mark, it's a very good drawing! even if in my opinion in some parts the shadows aren't well done like in others, like right foot's ones. I like to see that you haven't cancelled the initial lines, I think that anatomy drawings are beautiful also because you can see the construction lines. ( I hope you understand my english )

thanks! As I recall, that particular one wasn't that hard ... *but* it was the last drawing I did in a 3-hour class, so I'd warmed up for 2.5 hours, *and* it was one of those rare days when I was in the groove and things were turning out perfectly. It's funny that way -- often it's teh drawings you stuggle over for hours that don't really look like much, while the one that just hits you at the right time and takes 20 minutes to slap up becomes one of your best works. Anyway, those days when everthing is going right come oh-so-rarely it's best to just enjoy them while you can.

This one is my favorite , of all you have created. They are good but i cannot stand anime anymore. These days everyone is making anyme style artwork. This is different and professional lookng and that's why i love it soooooooo much. Good work, again.

Thanks! Art is so subjective that it's all down to personal preference, isn't it? I like all sorts of stuff, although it's really hard for me to get into abstract. The one thing that's pretty consistent that I like across genres and styles is dramatic lighting.

thankyou! My art teacher is going to hosting a gallery showing of some of his students' stuff, so I'm going to try to get into that show. I havne't gotten into showing my works in galleries yet, but I think I've finally got a few pieces that might be worth doing so.

thankyou! Feet are just hard to do ... it seems I can do them at funny angles, but not in regular standing-up poses...

Yes. And I never manage to get them looking like they're standing on the same surface, either.

Thanks! I really like to do perspective and I'm pretty good at it. I suck at doing long poses-- either standing up, or stretched out reclining ones. I think I judge proportions by the surrounding shapes, and when there *are* no surrounding shapes, it screws me up.
