thanks! i always use a referance pic, otherwise everything just goes wrong.... i usually find pics from flickr.com or google images as i dont actually have a cat! :3

This has to be the best traditional drawing of a cat I've ever seen. The eyes are beautiful, and the fur is amazing. The ears look so soft, and I love the way you drew the gravity pushing the whiskers and fur against the ground.
Was this all in normal pencil? Or charcoal?

It's easy to shade in a really dark spot like an eye pupils or such, but it can be so hard to find a way to get that eye shine in there. Being a realism artist is so hard... so many details and it looks the worst if you can't get it all just right.
I don't know how you do it but you're VERY good at realism art!
