Description
I felt like drawing Taggerung/Deyna again, and I found a fun pose to use for him. Part way through I realized that the pose I was doing could fit really well for the situation from one of the book covers, where Tagg is recovering Felch who ran away from the Juskarath clan. I'm pretty happy with how this turned out! I'm going to see if I can do more poses with other characters. Maybe I'll do that "random page" thing on the Redwall wiki again along with it too.Cheers!

Another great pose with a solid increase in the anatomical focus! As with the previous drawing I'd spend some time on the leg and foot anatomy as your understanding of the torso and arms seems to be 90% of the way there. I think the only critique I can give for the upper body would be the knife holding arm.
With the deltoid facing upward that much you would mostly see bicep, not so much tricep. The connection between the deltoid and the pectorals could also perhaps be softened up a bit as it has very harsh lines (my most frequent mistake as well, I carve almost everything into my sketches very hard) but it's useful to do a pass on a sketch once you've defined something and make sure that the line weight is heaviest on the most tense or weight bearing side, which would be more the side facing screen left on the deltoid at least (in my opinion)
Overall like I said with the previous sketch your work has taken leaps forwards since only a couple of pieces ago, so keep that in the forefront of your mind and feel good about it x3

This is really cool
I like Felch's expression of how he can't do anything at this point XDĀ
I'm amazed at the anatomy of this one and how the proportions are good size You did an excellent job on the scenery as well and you should be proud ^^
Keep up the amazing work x3

Dude, why do you keep on making such awesome pics? This is extremely awesome. And you're right, Tagg's pose is perfect for this scene, plus I love how you drew Felch, how he looks so wet and miserable and pathetic and defeated, and yet he still remains partially cute. Must be because he's a fox and its almost impossible for a fox not to look cute.
Plus the scenery's pretty good too. Granted its just sketching, but hey, as long as I can tell what its supposed to be - and if it fits the setting as described in the book - then its great.
Oh yeah, I noticed you made Tagg's tail longer! Awesome, thanks for taking my suggestion (that is, if you were thinking of it at all ). But yeah, that would be interesting if you started doing your 'random wiki page' thing again, although I do miss your polls. It was fun voting for what you'd draw next.
Again, one of these days I really should go through all my favorite Redwall artists and see how I'd combine you all for the perfect look for a Redwall movie/TV show.Ā
