Description
This was Sandman's Death posing as Rita Hayworth. SO much fun to do! I loved having the contrast between the black and white skin and gold sheets! Markers and pencil on bristol board.

This is so beautiful! I can't think of anything to say but WOW! Did you use a reference for her pose? I can't get over the amount of detail you put into this! The sheets look so real with all the folds and the look so luxurious and satiny!!! Her outfit is so real too with the way you highlighted the fabric and her hair,

Yes, the reference was based on the very famous pose Rita did exactly like this but of course I had to make this look more like Death so she had to be thinned down

Yes, client was really happy as was I! I almost didn't want to give her up lol. He did end up printing the image for me on a t-shirt which was sooo cool!!
