I just wanted to sketch an important reference for two Pre-Teen characters: Sunto and Kent, and Pan and Mirai Pan. Each are timeline counterparts, and each have hair differences.

Sunto and Kent: Sunto has the normal hair, while Kent has a lock hanging down in the middle.

Pan and Mirai Pan: No, it's not the bandana that differs between the two! Mirai Pan SOMETIMES wears one, but not all the time. At first there wasn't to be one, but outfits don't always distinguish characters for who they are. This actually came from *RyoGenji , from his comic made for the KentxMirai Pan Art Week event and compared it to how he made normal Pan. Normal Pan's hair stops at her shoulders pretty much, yet Mirai Pan's hair is a bit longer and goes somewhat past the shoulders.

Pan belongs to Akira Toriyama.
