Outside my house there's a "South African Buddleia" (according to one of the neighbours) which is apparently also known as a Butterfly Bush.

Anyhoo, because of the awful weather we've had here, it fell over which was a shame because there were loads of butterflies living in there. So mum and I helped our neighbours to cut it down, but I demanded to take some pictures before we got started. There were several different species there and although I couldn't get good pictures of some of them :/

I thought this picture was kinda different, because most pictures of a butterfly will make you go "Oh, a pretty butterfly. NEXT" but if you look at this in full view, you can see apart from the wings, they aren't that nice-looking!

Sorry, I'll stop rambling now.

Oh, and I'm using my D70 more which makes me happy
