This was my fourth entry for Operation: Style.
This was probably my favorite challenge, because I love designing superhero/villain AUs for characters! I'm still working on Burgboy actually.

Anyway, the challenge was that we had to design an outfit for a hero or villain (they chose for us) and make the outfit out of junk-- or incorporate the junk into the design. The junk we could use was already listed for us. I guess I went in an odd direction, but I designed the outfit and then I tried to make as much of the outfit out of junk as possible. I don't have the list anymore, but I used almost everything except for like...swimming flippers and soda cans...? I don't remember everything. ALSO, we had to use at least three junk items.

Anyway, I had been drawing all seriously so it was really fun to loosen up and draw in my cutesy cartoon style for the contest. I also went ahead and made a bio for the superhero. So fun, ahh!

Alignment: Hero

Secret Base: Somewhere near Kiko Lake
Goal: To make the world nice enough to have a nice laugh in, while causing a couple of laughs on his own.
Methods and Means: No powers, two gadgets; portal rod and portal goggles. Rod opens portals so one can go through or get something. Goggles let one see from the rod hook's perspective/other side of portal.
Warnings: Obvious gadget problems. Need something done with little to no errors? This is not your guy.

(The class and rank bit is a One-Punch Man reference. ;w

Designer Says: Gambit and Freakazoid were in mind for the feel of the design. For the look we were making a hero out of trash, but later decided it's better to make the hero first. Waz loves water stuff and tricks. Magicians fish things out of hats as tricks. Magician fisherman. The outfit is full of "illusions". For example, the outfit resembles overalls (fisherman), but is actually just a suit vest thing (magician). Seems like Wasy picks up a trickster persona whenever he wears it. :'D

Model Says: Villains beware, I have unfunny jokes aplenty and a gnarly rod...! (It's not real.) Love this kind of thing; the outfit is full of tricks like the face, the bottle buttons-- pretty rad.
Easily the most boss outfit I've had to wear. Way better than the merman thing we were gonna do.

Freakazoid, a bit odd, insane, but still a superhero. (My favorite actually. <3)
Gambit, Mysterious, totally looks evil upon first glance. Still a good guy. (My favorite X-Men actually. <3)
So I combined those two for the mysterious yet zany feel of Comic Catch. ouo
Except, I was told that he seemed more like a villain than anything. :C That's what happens when you put many personal touches into things I guess.
