Just let Pitch see the dumb-buns get picked off by their natural predators! How else do you expect them to learn?! Pitch clearly wanted to go outside this is something they need to see if they're gonna survive out there!!
On another note; I noticed the thumping Flip was doing. That's a nice touch! That instinctive reaction of wanting to alert others to the danger.
In the third panel, it looks like Flip is trying to resist the urge to thump, clearly knowing that it won't do any good, but ultimately their instinct overpowers them. I think that's a really nice action to put in.
