Transcendence, prior to the 17000s A10DE, was a theoretical event that has a chance of occurring to an entire intelligent species that reaches a certain point of technological prowess and population. Although not a spiritual process, transcendence is as close as one can get, as it involves an insanely complex process that isn't understood in the slightest scientifically with unity from one hundred percent of a biologically related group. It involves the brief linking of all conscious minds of the group into one semi-collective group capable of sharing memories and ideas, and then the conversion of all physical bodies of the species into a form of organized energy.

The minds of the group then separate once more and become individual life forms. The entire Human race; all Baseline Humans, species, and subspecies, transcended on 17355 A10DE. On May 13th, 173636 CE, 4:53:21 PM, all Humans everywhere were gripped by a sudden sense of collectivity, as all five quintillion beings' minds mysteriously merged, and all disappeared, leaving a vast power vacuum in the galaxy.

Man's consciousness then diverged once more, and it became five quintillion beings again, floating in the vast void between the universes, capable of accessing every point in history, accessing all physical and non-physical planes. Man had become omnipotent. But also something new, as it now soared through the never-ending cosmos at infinite speeds, doing what it always wished to do; explore, play, know what is unknowable, and just generally have a good time. Forever.

Mankind left its realm behind, leaving any other number of species to themselves. How or way mankind transcended is unknown, but it is speculated that the species that controlled the galaxy prior to mankind exited the cosmic scene in a similar way, becoming something new and immortal and beyond good and evil.

The new cosmic beings that were once Human, that multiply not by budding, are at this point capable of anything. Some may eventually, so they can leave a mark on existence, use their own energy to form a big bang, sacrificing themselves to create a whole new universe. Others may enter already formed universes, and siphon off their energy to increase its life expectancy and seed it with life, all while remaining stable. Others may wish to guide and lead others, and may enter already formed universes and effectively become the deity of all intelligent life that exists within.
