Description It's been a long time since I scanned in pencil work and didn't redo it with a tablet. It's also been a long time since I've drawn Soni's butt...

Lately it struck me that I've reached the age where my main original characters will probably always be younger than me instead of older. That's end of an era type stuff in a comic artist's life.

Pencil work, scanned and colored in Photoshop.

Really? Few of my main characters are older than me...I try to write what I know. Anyway, I was quite happy to see a bunch of Soni art upon returning to DA. Always good to see him...from any angle

I've been going through this nasty phase of not wanting to take/make the time to draw out my ideas for fear they won't come out right. Digging through references and letting a reference inspire me to physically do it is helping. That way I don't go in with any expectations. I hope with more satisfying pieces coming out I'll be able to follow through with my ideas again without fear.

I guess there's still a chance I could create a character who's in their early 30s but I'm just about there. It seems most main comic characters range from teens to early thirties. Adventure age. Am I right? Aside from the older hard-boiled male detective type, I can't think of any other examples of older main characters. Supporting cast, yes, but not mains.
