I particularly like your use of soft tone to create an extreme feeling of intimacy. They aren't doing a thing yet, but the low constrast blurs the personal boundaries in such a way that you would think they are under the same skin. Their blushes do tell they are thinking about something more, though.
I can imagine the following image: a slow embrace, each of them breathing deeply the essence of the other.

as always, my take on things is, people who are offended by art, are looking for someone to blame...art doesn't hurt anyone...it doesn't matter, even if this had been a drawing of one of these girls decapitating the other one...no one gets hurt because it's just a fucking DRAWING...
do you people understand...it's NOT real...it's a piece of artwork...it's just pencil or paint or pixels...there are NO real people involved other than the artist and observer...so if you are the observer, and it hurts you to look at it, i think you might want to try some counseling for whatever issues you might have, and quit blaming art for society's ills and woes and/or your own...then maybe you'll be able to fix what's really wrong with society and/or yourself...
