Well I have to say I have fallen in love with this character. Well. With pretty much all the characters in Mass Effect.I just finished playing Mass Effect 1 and mygodthisisthebestgameever!! It has amazing dialog and character development, such a solid world, very fun gameplay, and the graphics aren't even that bad for a not so recent game. And the story is just.... gripping.
As for that little speech bubble, I got seriously pissed off at the council - they are such idiots! I went into this game deciding that I'll be a paragon soldier, but they made it very difficult for me to continue on that path. Very hard.

I found it hard to stay purely Paragon but found the Renegade to often be just a needlessly cruel and petty jerk quite a lot of the time so I tend to play as a Renegone or Paragade mostly been Paragon but throwing in Renegade decisions at certain moments eg Rachnai etc.

I agree, especially in Mass Effect 2 and 3 I found.... now I'm playing however I feel is the right way to do things, which is sometime srenegade and somtimes paragon. But it is a very good game for that. Especially when the choices you have to make are big moral questions such as the Rachni or the genophage one. The 'paragon' option is often the option a good, obedient soldier would pick, whereas renegade can be the morally 'right' thing in these instances. And so that takes away paragon points and that's what is pretty clever.
