It has come to my attention that all permanently banned deviants lose all their deviations, i find it a bit harsh against the user so i propose a "Backup" button so that deviant can still keep their art and possibly create another account with them.This actually came to me when I got word from that her original account was shut down and shredding her art with it, so being the loyal Deviant I am I am asking for this option to be implanted right away to avoid future problems.

This is actually a good idea now that I'm looking at it a while later, because I don't save stuff to my photos anymore, i put it in sta.sh to save space. I would lose alotta stuff yo

When a Deviant's account is banned, does that also deactivate their Sta.sh?

Yes, it deactivates their Sta.sh also.

I was thinking deactivated deviants who sign in again can receive the backup on a weekly basis, and deletes the backup within 5 days.

Hmm. I was gonna say, if the Sta.sh is also deactivated, then when a user is banned, they should have the option of saving all their stuff from their profile and their stuff with the click of a button.
Or, if the Sta.sh remains active, all the uploads just get moved to the Sta.sh. And the banned user won't be able to upload anything to the Sta.sh and the Sta.sh will be made private. Any links would be invaildΒ and no one else but the user could access it.
Or maybe a "Final Goodbye" sort of thing, where the user has the chance to sign in only one more time and save the stuff that they want to keep to their computer. They can't do anything else (check messages, go through their watch list, post comments, view other art) from that account in the last time. They're stuck on their profile and when they leave their profile, they're time would be up and they couldn't ever return.
I dunno. Its just what I think. I don't know what all happens when people get banned.
